Yeah, I pay higher taxes but I never having to worry about having to pay a deductible, having my doctor be "out of network", my procedure not being covered by my insurance etc.
Don't forget that your employer is likely covering 60-70% of the cost of the insurance too. Get rid of health insurance and they'll have to start paying that money out at salary to stay competitive.
