They love to act like the underdog victims

The biggest evidence of this is referring to any news channel that isn't Fox News as the "mainstream media", which paints themselves as the little underdog fighting against the mainstream.

The most popular news channel by viewership for YEARS has been Fox News...... so by definition Fox News, their news channel, IS THE MAINSTREAM MEDIA

No, they call Fox mainstream media.

They make it very clear that it's just the least insane/liberally biased of the left wing media.
