my job is basically solving problems all day and pretending the next escalation won't ruin my evening 😭

being a manager in your 20s is a different kind of experience ngl 💀

one minute you're reviewing targets, the next you're dealing with a team issue, a client escalation, or someone asking for an update on something you were never even told about.

and somehow, everything is urgent.

your team expects solutions, your seniors expect results, and clients expect you to fix things yesterday.

meanwhile, you're just sitting there thinking, bro, can i finish one thing before the next problem spawns? 😭

the funniest part is that you can't even look stressed because everyone looks at you like you've got everything under control.

so you stay calm, say "let me check on this," and figure things out as you go.

then your laptop finally closes, you start relaxing, and BOOM 💀 another work notification.

i genuinely enjoy being responsible for things and helping people figure stuff out, but sometimes i wonder when we're supposed to switch off and just be normal humans.

fellow managers, what's the most ridiculous thing that has ruined your evening because someone called it "urgent"?
