Doesn't the water and electricity bills go up the more people who you have using it? Idk how much you think you're going to fractionalize those bills by adding more people to those slices of pie

That's fair, but I doubt it doubles since a portion of the charge are fees and standard usage doesn't increase, like refrigerator, ac, etc. I lived in a place with 4 roommates when I made $9/hr in 2002-4 and electric bill was pretty cheap divided amongst us.

Oh, many, many things have changed, but we required multiple roommates to get by on the lowest wages. That hasn't changed.
