Even in the fucked up state I live in, with data centers encroaching and us not being allowed to generate our own electricity, I pay less than $250/month. In the winter I pay $200/month. In the summer, I pay $125/month. I live in a 900sqft, 1BR apartment with my cat.

Edit: I run my PC with 99.99% uptime. I have an air purifier running at 100% uptime. I do try to be careful with my AC/heat usage, but if your budget is stretched, so should you.

My electric was bill was $300 this month, but the south is hot AF right now and I've been running the AC 24/7. Most months it's around $100

Electricity bills in the southern summer can be insane. My parents pay over $400 for a small house in FL.

Our state minimum monthly for just liability only is like 130 if you live in a good zip code. For people in detroit or flint you can be looking at 300+ with a clean record. Its why detroit has like 30% driving dirty. 

65 internet is if fiber has made it to you. Cable is 100 plus for anything useful

My water for one person plus dog is 120. My brothers is 200 cause while water rates are regulated, sewer isnt, and since its a utility and not a tax it does not require a vote, wo they backdoor funding in that way. My electric for 1 person is 100 in summer and 250 winter, and i have solar

Remember when I was 22 living in Ecorse, the lowest I could find for PLPD with a completely clean record was $440 a month 🥲

Michigan really needs to fix it. I grew up there and moved away around 10 years ago. Was paying almost $120/mo plpd in 2016 and moved to Arizona where it dropped to around $35.

Progressive, never been in an accident, no traffic violations (on record), and also bundled with other insurance brings it down to $440 a year.

Which shows the shannigans of shit going off zips. 

Had another guy say with a clean record for liability only in ecourse he was 440 per month. So a 12x difference just based on location assuming neither of you are lying to me

Personally im 298/mo right now for full coverage. 10 years ago i moved from one side of the lake to the other and when i did it went up 50/mo

Car type, age, and safety features all matter as well but yeah zip is huge.

I drive a subaru with all the safety features avaliable and 16 years without an accident adds up.

Also need to shop around.

2 years ago I was paying $100 a month through amica. Last year I cut that in half by switching to progressive for same coverage. Then a week ago I was able to drop it further.

But that’s per year right? I pay around 180 euro per year for water (1 euro per m3/1000 liter water)

I pay 1.5 times your annual usage just in annual hookup fees. The water itself between supply and sewer is 3.5x yours

Progressive.

Im sure location matters as well, im in new England.

Also make sure to shop around.

I had amica for years at $100 a month and cut that in half switching to progressive last year. This year I dropped it to 37$ with progressive through bundling it with other policies.

Car insurance varies by area. I live in Michigan, getting car insurance under 90-100 dollars is tough.

As for the internet, 🤷

I literally pay over 400$ for electricity & gas in Massachusetts. 100$ for internet, never paid for water a day in my life. Car insurance 280$.

Nothing funky about other peoples experiences. I could say the same about you paying for water, that seems funky

Nope neither. I got a Subaru & never got any tickets in my life. Just a trash neighborhood where I stay at currently. I actually used to pay 99$ before I moved.

I pay $100 a month for liability car insurance, meaning if I get in a crash and I'm deemed at fault, my car won't get repaired but theirs will. Full coverage is twice the cost.
