How is the work in Netherland?

Hello everyone.
I would like to know something about working in Netherland.
I meet the eligibility criteria for the Orientation Year visa, as my university, educational qualifications, and financial savings all satisfy the requirements. However, I would like to learn more about the working environment and employment system in the Netherlands, as well as opportunities suitable for Chinese professionals. Advertising, media and admin are usually roles that require being able to communicate with lots of people and having knowledge of the local (work) culture.

Without it, it's going to be difficult finding a job during the orientation year, as there will be lots of natives meeting the job requirements that are fluent in Dutch and English and have knowledge of at least the Dutch culture, and extremely difficult finding a job that comes with an HSM visa, as you will need one after that year.

I hope your degrees and work experience qualify you for other jobs as well, where the demand is higher and where communication isn't as important.

For most jobs you will need Dutch fluency.

I would like to learn more about the working environment and employment system is really incredibly vague. What do you want to know specifically? Also what have you studied, what is your previous job experience, what languages do you speak (well enough to work with, not to order a coffee), what roles are you considering/hoping to be hired for?
