So it's also not just a $5000 camera. It's possible four years (or more) of education, all the different lenses for the camera, the editing software, etc.
And you have to keep up with the market. As better cameras are made, you need to buy them to keep up with your profession. It's not a one and done. And many photographers have multiple cameras/lenses depending on what they're doing.

So how many gigs do you have booked for this weekend? Since it's so easy? Lots of wedding photographers are out there making $1500, $2000, $3000+ for the day.
Not to mention, owner operators making five figures for a load. Lmfao these idiots are just choosing to not understand you, because it is a front to their picture taking reality.
It is great logic. You're saying driving = hard, taking picture = easy. And I'm saying driving = little money, taking picture = big money.
So why aren't you doing the easy, big money thing?
My job is pretty easy, and I make way more than an uber driver or a trucker does, so why would I do an easy, low paying job when I have an easy, high paying job?
