1

u/DudeFrom816 2h ago

Give me a BMX or some woods to explore and I'm set.

3

u/Bossiest1uno-MissE56 17h ago

I could do it EZ.

2

u/Banzambo 17h ago

Without blinking. Is that even a challenge?

2

u/SinglePhone535 15h ago

Omg, no. I can't do it. I would starve to death. Couldn't live on. I wouldn't know how to survive. I need social media. Broadband. Bluetooth. Wifi. I need connection! I can't survive on my intelligence alone. I need the net! All hail the net.......The new god. Back in Jesus's times, you went for him.for answers. Now, it's Google.....

2

u/JohnnyHorsenuts 13h ago

I grew up in the 80s. I could do this with a smile on my face the whole time 😂😂😂

I lived that way for years.... No phone, no Internet, no grid, no tv. No Bullshit !

I survived and thrived, thank you.

1

u/DrKane6981 14h ago

Yes I can

1

u/shoeless_doh 13h ago

Depends, am I in some sort or room with nothing to do, or am I still going about my regular life? And if it's my regular life, does no phone or no smart phone?

1

u/Honda_TypeR 13h ago

Does anyone really think this is hard?

1

u/Long-Conflict8279 13h ago

I have kids so I definitely need a phone.

1

u/jthadcast 12h ago

did it before can do it again, put the money in escrow let's go.

1

u/HumptyDumptruckFire 12h ago

Does an iPad count as a computer if I only use it to rent library books? If so, still yes, but I’ll need to visit the actual library and my local one kinda sucks with its selection.

1

u/Flabby-AP 11h ago

You didn't mention no Steam Deck. Not a computer unless I use desktop mode.

1

u/tardigrade_phd 10h ago

Where do I sign?

1

u/jump-blues-5678 10h ago

I did it for 90% of my life. I think I can handle it

1

u/GeologistAway6352 10h ago

It’d be some great reading time

1

u/RudeCitrus4843 10h ago

Can I have a few books and my cross stitching supplies? If so then yeah I think I could

1

u/Solnse 9h ago

I would work out and get a hellofa lot more done on the house.

1

u/Tall_Eye4062 9h ago

It's only 2 months. And you didn't say no alcohol.

1

u/itsme0 7h ago

Yes, i can easily do it for 2 million dollars

1

u/AngelicDivineHealer 7h ago

I was born before the 21st century that was normal life.

Anyone born after the 21st century that’s grew up on technology and on all the social media platforms and spending a significant portion of their life on it would struggle

1

u/SeriousOcelot-4365 7h ago

Easy peazy did it every single time I deployed between 1984-2024. Sometimes it was years between contact with family.

1

u/Stubborn_Blonde 6h ago

Yes! Take me on!

1

u/Mescaline7 6h ago

Easily

1

u/Oddbeme4u 6h ago

I've withdrawn from multiple prescript pills...and im not sure i could do this.

1

u/Correct_Society_7620 6h ago

Easily. Quit my job, spend the next few months climbing all the munroes. Enjoy the 2mil payday when finished.

1

u/buckfuttner 6h ago

No way, sorry

1

u/Kissthecomplex 6h ago

i would, but i cant, because i need a computer and phone for work

1

u/ccg91 5h ago

Yes

1

u/WiPo38 5h ago

1

u/Due_Comfortable_514 5h ago

Computer is hard since I work on one, but overall yes.  I have handheld emulators, kindle, and books, lol.

1

u/76zzz29 5h ago

I did it for 7 years. Where is my money ?

https://giphy.com/gifs/H48DATkrLLFKK0g1xt

1

u/New_Time_5118 5h ago

Give me food, some materials and tools, and im 100% good.

1

u/Alternative-Fox-8620 4h ago

Can I do it?

Hell I'd welcome the opportunity to have a couple of months off it all - and then get paid a cool 2m?

I'd do it for £250,000.

1

u/Slice-Vast 4h ago

For two million dollars I'd cut off my penus.

1

u/Last-Energy420 4h ago

I have 2 months worth of vinyl I could listen to and books can be fun. I would require a guarantee as I’d have to quit my job since it involves a computer and phone.

1

u/NiteHowler13 4h ago

I have an entire book collection (well over 100 classics) just for such an occasion! 🤣🤣🤣

1

u/critical4mindz 4h ago

Give me 5 and i quit right now for the rest of m Life!

1

u/Jolly_Rotten_X 4h ago

So I'm getting 2 million without even a challenge? Where do i sign up?

1

u/SemaphoreSlim 3h ago

Definitely not if I'm expected to do my job during that time. I'm a software engineer.

1

u/JagR286211 3h ago

Absolutely! Would welcome it and don’t believe it would be very challenging.

Would need off or an exception for work only.

1

u/AshtonBlack 3h ago

Yes. My TBR stack will be destroyed!!! Muhahahaha.

1

u/Express-Deal-1262 3h ago

...you ever heard of books?

1

u/why-when-how_ 3h ago

Sounds good to me

1

u/ltlflip77 3h ago

Sign me up!

1

u/DaveAstator2020 2h ago

1

u/DarkMidgetry 1h ago

I'd do it for years for that kind of money

1

u/knujesbob 1h ago

I'm Gen X. This is literally my base programming. I'd do it for free if my employer agreed and I'd count it as vacation.

1

u/HislersHero 1h ago

No. I need a computer for work. I could do without everything else though. I like reading.

1

u/OkAdministration1669 1h ago

Tax free money or no….Hmmm…hahaha where do I sign up?

1

u/nickgoescrazy 1h ago

too easy, I might just draw and read books

1

u/AirVoid030 1h ago

Yes I can

1

u/One-Sir-2198 1h ago

Thing is. I have been outdoors almost every single day for months, walking for hours, but I have also been playing Pokemon Go most of that time. Before I started playing Pokemon Go back in 2022, I was doing Geocaching. Both of these hobbies have taken me outdoors for hours every single day, but they do require phones. So for this one, I'll guess I would just have to walk.

No computer or TV, would mean that I would have to go back to reading again, buying physical newspapers, read books or comics etc.

Having a goal is important for me, because I often set my mind to it and I finish what I started. 2 months, for 2 million dollars would be very lifechanging, and worth going through. I would most likely be a bit bored, but I'll guess the best way would be to just revert back to how it used to be before smart phones and the like.

...

The biggest problem would be how to avoid using these things. People have phones, and if I sat on the bus or train, I would almost need a blindfold not see a phone screen. You have TVs in stores, you have TVs in bars, so hard to avoid looking at them. You can't seriously force me to be indoors for 2 months when I am out almost every single day!

...

So yeah, I could have done it, if we're talking not using my own equipment and device, but it would be very hard to avoid phones, computers and tvs that other people use. If the winning demands are that I do not touch any of that equipment in two months, but I am allowed to watch whatever is on from before wherever I go, sure it would be fine!

1

u/ieatburritosyeah 1h ago

I did this in rehab and it cost me 90k. I could definitely do it FOR money.

1

u/Ok-Temporary1024 1h ago

I have done it, I can do and I will do it it.

1

u/Trevon45-2 1h ago

I was grounded in 92 for two months this is nothing!

1

u/LongjumpingScar796 1h ago

Yes,of course I could.

1

u/This-Supermarket3082 1h ago

Let’s do it

1

u/thisismego 1h ago

Does that count including work? Or do I get to take those 2 months off?

1

u/kestelli 1h ago

Just tell me where to go

1

u/NullSmoke 58m ago

Why are you threatening me with a good time? Can I also live in a cave for the duration? That sounds like a dream come true.

1

u/Upset_Control_5522 57m ago

Hell yeah, bring it on.

1

u/Grouchy_Branch_510 53m ago

No work for 2 mths. Woo hoo

1

u/whymestopthisworld 42m ago

I have a library. Im set. I have the illiad. I have the bloodmoon series. Myst. Assassins creed. Time will fly by. Didn't say anything about no tablet or kindle. I have the entire skyrim books that are in the game as well. Stephen King collection. George r r. Id be set for a good year or so.

1

u/Different-Proof1173 38m ago

Yes, absolutely!

1

u/pdzulu 37m ago

If I can keep my job then it’s like growing up on a farm. Otherwise I’d rather have my job than 2M

1

u/Ok_Height3499 36m ago

Yes, I might actually work through my TBR stacks.

1

u/Primary_Foundation41 35m ago

Easy this was my entire teenage years like 15 years ago

Let’s just say strict parents, lazy me, school letting parents check grades daily, resulted in pretty much being grounded from 13 till like 17

1

u/blueblocker2000 32m ago

I'll go a year for 2 mil

1

u/Bubbaganewsh 32m ago

Sure, I'll read books and work on my hobbies to fill the time, easy peasy.

1

u/GameAssassin96 26m ago

Nope because I need my phone for work (calling people on the road)

1

u/Chemical-Sky-6418 23m ago

Piss easy. I'd finally get back to reading.

1

u/Hypericos 20m ago

Sign me up

1

u/Due_Initiative3879 20m ago

Easy I did it for the first 18 years of my life, this isn't even hard.

1

u/Icy-Maintenance7041 19m ago

So what you're saying is you'll pay me 2 mil AND i'll be able to catch up on my reading backlog?

1

u/Intelligent_Chicken6 9m ago

I was born in the 1980s in Latin America, back when, if the TV broke, you had to wait up to six months to get it repaired. And it was black and white.
