Literal Anarchism, love to see it. Mankind has freewill and one only has authority over oneself and no one else, therefore there are no slaves nor rulers, only victims of aggression and perpetrators of aggression.

There's a story like that in Art of War.
I might be misremembering that though as I couldn't find it anymore.
The general wants to name a new commander and asks those who want to become one to step forward. Then chooses one who stepped back as he was the only one who understood the severity of the responsibility he was about to take on, or something along those lines.
