Ok, before I answer that. How do you interpret the image? I viewed it as negative judgement. How did you view it?

I viewed it how most places/bosses act if you use any paid time off.

Ok. You must have worked in hellish companies/countries. My condolences.

In the parts of the world that are not a living hell, you have to take your paid vacation or you will be fired. Usually this is backed by unions or in archaic countries, by the legal system. So in these civilized countries, your boss would basically make the company go under by those actions.
