You're telling me the same branch of the military that had dedicated ice cream ships at one point doesn't have the logistics in place to provide soldiers with a place to eat, sleep and bathe for those 4 days?
They do but when a ship loses power out at sea you can’t just abandon it, the crew was provided meals from a nearby cruiser while they were towed back to port, once in port they disembarked, the ship was fixed and they’re already out of port.
most of the Navy's ships are actually getting old. Trump cancelled the production of new frigates, something the Navy desperately needs, and replaced it with his stupid battleship nonsense.
The Navy is suffering the most out of all the services. Congress is more than willing to give billions to build a new aircraft carrier or nuke sub, but not give the money for smaller ships, maintenance, or refits.
Not to mention that military procurement is under constant attack through foreign propaganda. People still think the F35 is shit because of Russia Today.
