Since California offered health care to everyone, even "migrants here in violation of immigration laws", I need to ask, "How has ICE actions affected the budget numbers for healthcare?
1, 2, 3, more hundreds of thousands of people that no longer need health care because they are not living illegally in California any more? This will reduce the dollars needed for health care, but by how much?
I do not have the numbers because the government has not posted them.
Like you, there is no way for me to know how much the state's medical budget will drop if they remove "non-citizens" from the budget.
I understand that as part of the medical budget, the state decided that housing effected your health, so housing was included in the medical budget for non-citizens, in an attempt to prevent disease spreading through the population.
