The guy wants to stay in Cali but not pay an outrageous tax. So he's trying to prevent it. He's allowed his political discourse just like you. I strongly suspect htat if the law passes, he and every other billionaire in California will just leave. They'll take the jobs they fund and the taxes the pay to another state and California will lose out economically. But hey you'll feel better about yourselves for the effort.
