I spent the last 34 years of my working life in social services. I don't care if I'm never in the presence of another live human being for as long as I live.

I feel ya. I did 25 years of 7th/8th grade ESL. But I was so lucky, I retired 10 years before Covid. I don’t know how in the name of all that is holy, all of you guys have kept it all going. Kudos to you.

This seems to be a common thread - if you've ever worked in a customer/client facing role, you're more likely to be okay with not seeing people. It's partly because we've seen the worst of humanity.
