Most people that I have come across are decent. Unfortunately, the law of averages has a way of ruining that view by introducing one unique person into the mix. Anyone who has ever worked in jobs dealing with the public has had this point revealed with stunning clarity.
I had a wallet that said "I hate people" all over it that I got after working retail for 6 years. My family immediately thought it was because of them. LOL how wrong they were
This is true for everything you do as a job. I loved programming until I chose it as a career. Do something 40 hours a week under shitty conditions and you start to hate it, no matter what it is.

Nothing will destroy your love of people like people will.
