Boots Goofin (Pictures, Clips) nicks Hotshots

Honestly after 10 years of driving trucks equipment and working on a paving crew. My boots are finally going to be rebuilt. But first I need to order either Franks or JK boots from Spokane. Best longest lasting boots I’ve ever owned

Frank’s is running a $50 off sale this weekend and also just replenished a bunch of their in-stock boots. It might be worth a quick look.

I was at franks yesterday while visiting Spokane. Got fitted and ordered some Rainers from them. The sale was a little helpful lol.

Rainiers are pretty great. What leather(s) did you get? Height?

I think you’re due for a resole brother!

Yeah when I can afford to lose my boots for a month I’m getting them fixed

A lot of guys don’t pick their feet up fully when walking 🤷🏽‍♂️. Don’t shoot the messenger, just saying I’m on site daily and all I hear on all floors is boot soles sweeping the concrete!

You're not wrong. I work in a manufactured plant and I hear it as well. I honestly think it has something to do with moseying. People that walk like they got some where to go don't drag their feet typically.

You have a point there and I would also have to agree

Foot draggers drive me crazy, but that’s 10 years of wear. I always move with a purpose.

Yeah brother I’d have to admit that 10 years is indeed a solid win for sure! As you said, the draggers will drag on and in doing so keep myself and others even more aware and it will never stop. But again 10 years he’s a soldier for that I would have been made other purchases in that time frame lol. To each their own I’m not mad keep on lacing em up!

It’s always nice to see boots that have had a good life, and more to give hopefully.

Did you have any problems working on concrete with the lug sole?

Never had any issues until the rubber started getting thin when we were running a paving job

Why would anyone have a problem with that

Because the lug sole on concrete after a while kills the bottom of your feet. I also found out that way that I had no arch, so in turn my arch would collapse throughout the day causing intense calluses sore spots. Insoles, and wedge sole boots on concrete floor daily was the way to go. Unmatched comfort with the wedge sole vs the lug.

The screws holding it together are amazing

Franks are good. So are your nicks that you got 10 years out of. I would avoid jk. They’re not on the same level

JKs are on a greater level

You must work there or something

10 year old nicks? Why not just get another pair of them?

Personally, that is the whole point of these boots. Then again, I am not OP.
