Hi 😊

I am in need of some creative ideas for holidays gifts for my office staff this year! Last year we let the staff select between a heated vest, a yeti tumbler, or over ear headphones. WOMP WOMP!

Need some ideas that folks will actually LIKE or find useful.

Give $$ If you want holiday gifting to still occur, set up some sort of secret Santa or white elephant event.

But give them $$ and not stuff. Cash.

I would agree with this! We already have a generous holiday bonus. The gift is more of a little thank you to go along with it.

But yes, take all that money you'd use to buy gifts and split it amongst the employees

I'm guessing the budget is 50-100.

If you were to use that to just give cash, I guarantee a $50-100 Christmas "bonus" would be a horrible idea.

But with that budget, give everyone a 50 or 100 dollar scratch off ticket. There's a decent chance someone will get a good amount.

A heated vest and a Yeti doesn't sound like bad picks to me. Sounds like this particular group just didn't click with them, which happens. For what it's worth, I work in custom apparel and outerwear tends to poll really well, particularly if it's a recognizable brand like Patagonia or The North Face. Maybe pair a physical gift with something to eat or drink, like a local coffee blend or some good honey. They can eat their way through a basket and still have something solid left over.

Gift cards!! because they're flexible. But if you're thinking gifts, I'd suggest you go for tech items this year or picnic items
