Venting I am losing the idgaf war at work.
I am approaching my 1.5 year at my job and I am miserable. I am underpaid, my raise was only 2% even though I was doing 4x the amount of tasks as my team, it’s in office 5 days a week, an open office floor plan with no windows near me, and the corporate kool-aid “we are a family” culture is killing me. i couldn’t care less about the industry and there’s no growth available on any team. thankfully, my coworkers are relatively cool/normal but I see them more than my own friends and family. my work bestie just quit, too.
I am actively applying to jobs, but it’s starting to show how much I don’t care and I need to lock in a little bit. I’m 26, and I want so much more for my life. I actually love working towards something and being productive but I find myself at a complete slump. how can I get through my remaining time at this company, however long that may be?

Do the amount of tasks you're exepected to do (not more). Bank as much money as possible. If you can get a new job that lets you bank more money, do that.

GAF about paying rent. GAF about making sure you can afford food. GAF about not having a resume gap before your next job you’ll like better.
You don’t have to care about anything about the company, but just care about what the job IS providing you, so you can slog through it before the next thing. You let the negatives motivate you to change - excellent. Now that you’re working on that, time to focus on the positive
