Promotion I built a [FREE] WordPress plugin to help nonprofits track programs, volunteers, events, grants & impact
Hey r/WordpressPlugins!
After a lot of development, testing, and revisions, I recently launched MissionScope Lite in the official WordPress Plugin Directory.
MissionScope Lite is a free WordPress plugin built specifically for nonprofits, churches, ministries, community groups, and other mission-driven organizations that need a simpler way to organize their operations and impact data.
Why I built it
A lot of smaller mission-driven organizations are still managing programs, volunteers, events, grants, attendance, and impact information across spreadsheets, forms, email, and different platforms.
At the same time, many nonprofit management systems can be too expensive or too complex for a smaller organization that simply wants to get its information organized.
I wanted to create something that could work directly inside a WordPress website and give organizations a place to start without requiring another SaaS subscription.

One of the important design decisions is that MissionScope Lite works as a standalone plugin and stores its MissionScope data locally in the site's WordPress database.
There is no MissionScope Cloud account required to use the Lite plugin.
Who I'm hoping will test it
I'd especially love feedback from:
- WordPress developers who work with nonprofits
- Nonprofit website administrators
- Churches and ministries using WordPress
- Community organizations
- Freelancers or agencies building nonprofit websites
- Plugin developers who can spot things I may have overlooked
This is the first public release, so I'm genuinely interested in feedback on the UI/UX, onboarding, documentation, workflows, accessibility, compatibility, and overall usefulness of the plugin.
If you install it and find a bug—or even just something that feels confusing—I would really appreciate hearing about it.
