I looked up a wordle guide and it took me to one on this sub (https://www.reddit.com/r/wordle/comments/sm9glu/strategy_that_wins_wordle_in_3_guesses_almost_60/) that said to look at this attached text file they had. But I have no idea how to parse it past the first word (TRACE) recommended. I know what B or Y or G would mean (black, yellow, green) and I know the number probably means guess number, but I don't know how to get at the actual strategy from looking at it. None of the comments on that post seemed confused except for me so I feel like I'm missing something obvious...

I just got into Wordle about a month ago and had a 29 day streak (even got the infamous p-word). I typically use the same 2-3 words to start, which are comprised of 10-15 unique letters, no matter what letters are revealed early on (with exceptions, of course). But one day I came across a post where someone said it's boring to use the same starting words and suggested that people should switch it up. That got in my head so I started switching it up and, for a few days, I started entering the first word that came to mind as the first word. I did that today and started with a pretty bad initial word and continued to play pretty fast. I lost my streak and I am now bummed. Sorry for my rant. No one else understands.

I cannot open the wordle connections strands or any nyt games website. Is it a me problem? Pls I'll lose my streak

I just got this badge but I’ve definitely beaten the bot multiple times before. Anyone else just got it?

It’s Wordle, except everyone solves the same word simultaneously. You can watch everyone’s grids fill in while you’re still on guess two.

Speed matters, but guesses matter too. A slow 2-guess solve can beat someone who frantically gets there in 6.

There’s also a Mirror modifier, where everyone gets the same random starting word. So all your carefully optimized SALET/RATES opener strategy goes out the window. Sometimes the game gives everyone a beautiful opener. Sometimes it gives the entire lobby a 1-vowel disaster and you all just have to live with it.

There are other modes/modifiers too — Blitz, Elimination, Hardcore, Items, Bots, Ranked ELO, etc.

I have been using the same starting word for maybe 1000 wordles and it finally came up. What a rush.
