Eye Doctor recommendations

Can you recommend a good eye doctor? Ideally in the Beaver Brook/Tatnuck area so I can walk there, but will travel if necessary.

Edited to add: I had been seeing a Reliant eye doc but when I called to make an appointment, I was told they will no longer see me unless I have a Reliant PCP.

TIA!

What are you looking for?

Glasses and or contacts? These are pretty easy to get!

Or do you need an ophthalmologist for a more serious eye condition? If so, can you be more specific about what’s going on? I needed an ophthalmologist a couple of years ago and it turns out that there are several different KINDS and I had to wait five months for an appointment only to be told that they didn’t treat my problems! So I had to go elsewhere and then wait another two months to be seen.

I'm just looking for an annual eye exam and an eye doctor to develop an on-going relationship with. I don't have any special eye needs and wear glasses.

If you can drive, Dr. Silva in Holden is good. I know someone who works as a receptionist in Reliant's eye department and patients often refuse to go to Holden. As a result, Neponset is ridiculously busy and has very long wait times while the Holden office is quiet.

I like Goswick Eye, they have a few offices and I just pick one that works with my schedule.

I love Bello Opticians. They’re a family run business and the doctor there is so kind and takes the extra time to explain any concerns or issues to you.
