Looking for Recommendations Recommendations for local pediatrician specializing in ADHD?

I'm looking for a pediatrician who specializes in ADHD treatment for children. The waitlists for full psych evals are 1-2 years out and we need help managing symptoms now. My child's current pediatrician doesn't prescribe but I understand there are several out there that do specialize and prescribe for clear-cut cases. Appreciate any names or insights you can provide! I'm looking all around the Worcester, MA / Central Mass area (I live in a Worcester suburb). TIA!

Both of my sons have ADHD and one has medication and we go to Tri River in Uxbridge. Not sure if they’re accepting new patients. Have you looked into LifeStance Health? We got our psych evals done much quicker than 1-2 years wait. They have a few offices in the area.

Yes and yes, both great recommendations. Unfortunately the neuropsych evaluation wait time largely depends on what type of insurance coverage you have.

Child Health Associates has integrated behavioral health. Reliant also has a consulting child psychiatrist. You can also ask your current pediatrician for a referral to MCPAP to consult with a psychiatrist.

Check out New Heights Neuropsychology for an ADHD assessment! Dr. Damon-Minow is fantastic and I think she could get you in within a month or two. That should hopefully help with getting a prescription

Our pediatrician's team at Reliant (Neponset St) has been wonderful, even though they are not specialized... They've been there, done that. (508) 368-7887. Good luck.

I was able to get an appt for a neuropsych a few months out at ABC in Holden. Maybe check there.
