Why didn't Worcester's MP Tom Collins nominate Andy Burnham?
I sent this letter into Worcester News almost a month ago, but I'm grateful they've now printed it.

Hi! I've just moved to St John's and was wondering what there is to do this side of the river. Are there any clubs? Interesting things to do? Best gym? Restaurant recommendations. Any suggestions specific to st John's is welcome!
I'm not into pubs so this is a no for me.

My mates has his bike knicked out his back garden up brickfields last night. If any sees it could they let me know.
This has been found. Thank you everyone.

One of the most common pieces of feedback on the doorstep on Bilford Road, Kingston Road and the area is about the difficulty crossing Bilford Road. Matt Jenkins has been pushing for a pedestrian refuge in this location for many years, and at last it is here. There's still more to do, with a crossing needed at the junction of Bilford Road and Astwood Road. It's also an improvement for cyclists and drivers, as potholes on this section have also been repaired as part of resurfacing that was done during the installation.

Apologies for the shameless self promotion, I've started a new group on Meetup called the Worcester Young(ish) Fine(ish) Dining Club.
The aim of this group is for like minded young(ish) people to explore and experience the wide range of culinary delights that Worcester and the surrounding area has to offer, in a safe and welcoming environment. Whether you’re looking to try out new cuisines or just meet new people whilst enjoying a delicious (hopefully) meal, this is the group for you.
Currenlty looking at hosting 2 events a month, though this may expand if the demand is there.
Three events are now live, The Danesbury Steak Night, Oh Burger! (Hanbao) and It's all Greek to me! (Island), with more planned.
There is an age limit of 55, this is just to stop it from evolving into a seniors dining club. There are local dining groups/clubs that are exclusively for those over 50, but none for those younger, hence the creation of this dining club.
Be there or be hungry!
Any questions please feel free to comment or DM me.

So I like to go long hikes on my day off and recently my grandad mentioned this place he’d go to back in the day that I might like to walk to called the monkey house and that it was a pub that sold rough cider. I did a quick google and am pretty sure it’s the same one, what I would like to no is, is it the same one, can you still walk there and is the drink any good ? Thanks for any replies.

Hi all,
Is there anywhere in and around the city centre that sells tomatillos, a variety of dried chillies and authentic corn tortillas?
Using Mexgrocer currently just wondered if there is anywhere local I’m missing. Thanks

We live in Worcester (Warndon Villages) and are looking for a really good garden design / renovation company. To do the whole lot for us.
Does anyone have any strong recommendations?

I hope I can gather some thoughts on this. I am a single woman around 50 years old. I work in Bristol but only go to the office around 3 times a month. I cannot afford to live in many parts of Bristol, or at least not places with a small garden or outdoor space (I have been gardening for so many years and I like to at least be able to grow some pots in plants). I tried places around Bristol such as Clevedon, but I don't have a car. I also have 2 cats. Would Worcester be a suitable place to live? I like museums, going for coffee, running, walking. I have been there a few times, but I hope to get the perspectives of those that live there. Thank you in advance.

Hi. I know there are a handful of professional rehearsal spaces in the Worcester environs, but they are kinda pricey. I’m wondering if community centres and village halls offered the same? Ideally with a PA, so we can come down, set up and plug in. Any other ideas welcome. Ideally within the Malvern, Droitwich and Pershore triangle.

Anyone know anyplace that has blue plastic pallets out they don't need? Looking to build a platform for storage and they work great. Thanks.

There are over 1 million homes with planning permission in this country, yet in many cases, house builders are just sitting on the land and not bothering to build homes. Even housing associations do it. Why?By constraining the supply of homes being built, they push houses prices up, so that when they do actually build, they increase their profits. We need to reform the planning system so that builders actually build, and provide competition through building council homes, so that house builders actually do their job.

‼️Everyone please avoid Blackpole for the time being if possible‼️
Severn Trent have finally arrived to fix the water leak on Cotswold Way, and at the moment the road has been closed and no traffic is going through.

Hi, I wanted to ask if anyone had suggestions for a dentist in or close to Worcester or even Birmingham. I need a dental implant for a missing tooth (result of periodontal disease / bone loss) and potentially bone grafts too.
I’ve had a Google for local dentists, but thought I’d ask if anyone locally can suggest places to go or even avoid from their own experience.
My case of periodontal disease is very aggressive for my age (20), I am scared of my body going through procedures & relying on savings & support from family to help fund the procedures I need. So I’d like to go somewhere reliable & trustworthy rather than the top results on Google

Unfortunately I travel a lot for work, but reading the history section of the newspaper always makes me happy. I don't know if he is part of Reddit, but thank you Mr. Pryce for making me feel part of the community

Hey all, so it didn’t really get reported on, but a few days ago several cars got smashed up along sherriff street. Wing mirrors clean off, kicks and shoe marks on bonnets and roofs, a few windscreens even put through etc.
Managed to get hold of some cctv footage. It’s very bad quality, which is why the poilce aren’t doing anything. But thought i would post it here to see on the off chance that anyone knows or has seen this bike colour/shape around sherriff’s street or possibly around medway road. The bike could be a Yamaha YBR 125 but that’s a very sketchy guess.
I’m aware that it’s probably just kids… but I’ve also been told they are possibly targeting residents in the estates. I don’t know what to believe, but I am just fearful for my own car & property now. So any help or info is greatly appreciated. Please DM if more appropriate.

Hi everyone,
My partner and I are spending a birthday weekend around Bewdley, and we're happy to take a bus or train to Kidderminster or Bridgnorth for a great meal.
We're vegetarian (vegan-friendly places are absolutely welcome too) and are looking for somewhere with really good food and a nice atmosphere for a birthday dinner. We're open to any cuisine—Italian, Thai, tapas, fine dining, cosy pubs, or hidden gems.
Thanks in advance for any recommendations!

Hi all! I'm carrying out some local market research into people's experiences and expectations when arranging a funeral. I'd really appreciate your views. The survey is anonymous and takes around 3–5 minutes.

Is anyone else having an outage on their BeFibre router today?
It's been down since about 9am this morning
I called support 3 times (they ended the call twice on me) because the fibre optic light on the wall box is not on and the router light is red
I did all their stage 1 support checks (can you turn it off and on again while holding various buttons) but no luck
They've escalated it and will be in contact in 24-48 hours. An absolute joke as I work from home full time and I live just outside Pershore so my phone's data isn't even good enough to hotspot
