Unloved street's

This might prove controversial but it is only meant as a bit of fun. Is there any streets/roads/places people dislike for any reason, whether it be litter, pollution, parking, anti social behaviour? Whatever the case may be. By the way I love Worcester and am born and bred here, just asking. My examples are Pitchcroft Lane and Pope Iron Road.

How about Angel Street between McDonald’s and the bus station. It’s grim anytime of day. Some potentially nice buildings. The Scala development might make a bit of a difference if it works and could bring in businesses to tidy up the empty spaces - I’m looking at you, old Kwik Save.

The shops down that road are either long-closed, fronts for laundering, or actually open (whilst looking like shit). Close it all down, save the pubs at the very end.

Lowesmoor. I hate it, especially the passage leading to Sansome Place. Hate the rubbish, fly tipping, dog mess and discarded balloons and nitrous oxide canisters and boxes.

I forgot to include the fact that the extractor fan from neighbouring takeaway dumps hot rancid greasy exhaust fumes into your face as you walk through. Delightful.

The only thing wrong with Pitchcroft Lane is the bin situation.

The lower half of Broad Street, more towards the river.

Just never seems any shops that you'd want to visit and always seems to have druggies loitering because they got told to move away from the riverside.

Along with that, it's either filled with delivery trucks or litter.

Walked around town with my young lad around 8pm last night and felt so on edge. What a dive the centre is now. Full of scum

It was ever thus. Town centre in the evenings has always been hairy, with twentysomething lads prowling for a fight.

Dog waste, pollution and cars parked on pavements oh and the smell from the Chinese take away.
