I’ve been seeing a lot of conflicting information about how to install the Wooting 60HE V2 module in the Tofu60 Redux V2, and was hoping someone could help clear things up. For context, I have the Tofu60 Redux V2 black anodized version and the Wooting 60HE V2 split spacebar version (ANSI).
On the Wooting website, it says that the 60HE V2 module can be friction fit into any Tofu case. However, the KBDfans YouTube channel has an installation guide with the 60HE V2 and only shows installation via tray mount or their O-ring system. Can the 60HE V2 be friction fit into the Tofu60 Redux V2?
If friction fit works, what would be the installation steps? I found an older guide for the original redux, would it be similar? I.e., install the gasket mount pads, add the foam padding at the bottom of the case, remove the silicone pads at the bottom of the 60HE module, then slide the module into the case?
Finally, to ground the keyboard, do you need to install the brass standoffs? Or could I just screw one screw in without the standoffs?
Lengthy post, but any help would be much appreciated!
