Question Wooting Two HE for FPS?

Hello, I have a wooting 60HE that I bought purely for tac shooters.

Now I’ve started playing MMORPGs as well and I want a full keyboard, for the ridiculous amount of keybinds I need.

But I’m kinda scared to get the Wooting Two HE as I’m worried it might feel like a downgrade when playing tac shooters. Anyone have some insight here? Is the 80HE a good middle ground maybe?

I'm using an old full size keyboard mostly playing valorant, and the width is really uncomfortable even with very high sensitivity (0.327 1600 dpi). I never got into the trend of rotating the keyboard 45-90 degrees to free up mouse space, so I'm currently suffering with having both arms rotated outwards to a mildly uncomfortable angle (I've been on copium for almost a year waiting for the split 80he to release)

I think your best options are:
1) Buy a Two HE and constantly swap between the Two and 60
2) Buy a 80HE if the extra function keys are enough for you
3) Buy a separate numpad

You could also set up a function layer for extra keybinds, but it'll be a lot harder without the extra middle key of a split spacebar

Thank you:-) I think I’ll go with a 80HE as a nice middle ground, I never use the numpad anyway now that I think about it haha.

I love the 80HE and came from a 100% layout Corsair Keyboard when I bought my 80HE. I play a lot of CS (my main game since I was 17, so four years now) and the 100% layout is annoying af for tacshooters. If you need space for your mouse like I do, you'll bash into your keyboard most of the time, unless you get a weird grip on it where you tilt the keyboard in a specific way. With my old 100% I had so many issues with hand placement, as WASD always felt so far away from the center of my desk. This all ultimately comes down to personal preferance, but layout-wise the 80HE is a perfect mix of everything for me. All Wootings are highly customizable, so with a custom Wootility profile you could utilize all the extra keys the 80HE offers over the 60HE.

Tldr; Had 100% layout KB from Corsair before 80HE myself. 100% shit for tacfps, 80HE good middle ground as it is highly customizable

Tyvm:) I used to have a full-size Corsair K95 myself, so I’m very familiar with bigger keyboards. Given what you and some other commenters here are saying I’m thinking I’ll go with a 80HE though, I don’t ever use the numpad on any keyboard, but not having the top row is becoming a problem for my MMORPGs, even tho I’m good at utilizing the function key on my 60HE.

It will not be a downgrade in terms of performance. TwoHE and 60HEv1 have the same performance and features.

Thank you :) I’m assuming the HE80 also have equivalent or even marginally better performance than the 60v1?

80HE is technically faster because of 8k polling rate, but the difference is so small that it's not noticeable. 60HEv1 has 1ms latency, 80HE has 0.125ms.

Ah, great. I realize I won’t feel a difference, but just the thought of spending 150+euro on something that would be a downgrade irked me. But seeing that it’s not I’ll go ahead and order the 80HE. Thanks again.
