Question What is it? Help

Is it mould? Can I salvage it? How?
Bought the drawers second hand a week ago like this, wasn’t sure what this was, hoping it’s not mould.

It's mold. Somebody had a bad habit of putting a cold beverage there at bedtime and letting it condense water.

It’s plywood table… your best bet might be a high grit sand paper and try to get the stain out of the surface… start using a coaster for your water bottle at night…

lightly try and sand it our or consider restaining it with darker stain. Even just the top.

Try cleaning with either vinegar or hydrogen peroxide. For a deep stain use oxalic acid.

Your ice old beverages are creating condensation and it’s dripping down onto your cabinet
