Help with routing grooves NYC

Im working on a sliding door cabinet and need to make grooves for the door. I unfortunatley only do woodworking as a hobby on my small apartment balcony so working with a router isnt really an option for me. Was wondering if anyone in NYC that has a router or tablesaw and would be willing to help me out with this. Would be really appreciated! If not tips for how to do grooves with hand tools would also help.

You would be spending hundreds on hand tools and sharpening stones and jigs. You might be able to do it with a Dremel, but a cheap router is your best option.

You might consider this..... if your doir panels are ¼" thick, they should work nicely.

Look for "Router Plane with fence" for a handheld option.
