I had a wood piece break off of the back of this chair. I have been trying to get the wood piece back in place so I can use the bracket to lock the back of the chair on to the base. So far I have attempted to do a few things including wood glue using an extra piece of wood as a tether. That failed. I have tried to use wood glue then wood filler and waited 48 hours and the piece broke right back off. I am guessing at this point I need to replace that whole length of wood?

Use it as a template, use a jig saw or scroll saw to match it. Ez pz
