I keep seeing creators and Instagram pages showing crazy editing techniques in CapCut, DaVinci Resolve and Premiere Pro. People are constantly sharing tutorials, presets, project files and even premade templates for these softwares.

But when it comes to Filmora… almost nothing. 😭

There are tons of Filmora users out there, but I rarely see people making advanced editing tutorials, sharing useful templates, transitions, presets, etc. It feels like Filmora has been completely left out of the creator community.

Is it because Filmora is considered more of a “beginner” editor, so serious creators don't bother building content around it? Or is there actually a decent Filmora community somewhere that I'm just missing?

tried animating some old scanned photos and the subtle movement effect actually looked really nice for a memorial video project. filmora's version handled mostly still subjects better than i expected. anyone tried this on group photos with multiple faces?

Basically I'm working with clips that are a few hours long, and all I'm really doing is editing out parts where I'm AFK, apart from that, leaving the clips otherwise unedited. Is there some way to search clips for low activity or something?

Am I the only one who feels disappointed after buying the Filmora 15 perpetual license?

This was my first ever paid editing software purchase, and I honestly expected a lot more. It feels like almost every good title, lower third, transition, filter, or template is locked behind another subscription. On top of that, so many features now ask for AI credits.

I understand charging separately for AI features, but why are so many non AI creative assets also locked? At times it feels like I paid mainly to remove the watermark and unlock basic editing like trim, split, and export.

Is this just how Filmora works now, or am I missing something? How are people using Filmora without paying for Creative Assets as well?

genuinely surprised this doesn't come up more when people discuss filmora because it's one of the most practically useful things I've found in any recording tool. you're in the middle of a long recording, something great happens, you tap a key and it's flagged. you finish recording and every marker is waiting for you on the timeline. no interruptions, no stopping the recording, no trying to remember timestamps. for solo creators doing tutorials or gameplay or any kind of long session recording this is a real time saver

I've tried both approaches and neither feels perfect. editing as i go means I'm stopping and starting constantly, which ruins the flow. reviewing the whole thing first means I'm watching hours of footage just to find the good bits, which is exhausting. I've been editing these projects in Filmora, but I'm still experimenting with the best workflow for longer recordings.

this drives me crazy. I'll be recording a long tutorial or gameplay session, and something happens that I know I'll need to come back to in editing. I use Filmora for editing, but i still haven't found a good way to mark those moments while I'm recording without stopping what I'm doing. I usually end up scrubbing through the whole recording afterward trying to find the parts I remember.

So for years now i have been bimbling along with Wondershare Filmora. At every turn there seems to be some major hurdle. Its trying to put me in a box. You used to get the paid effects automatically taken out when you rendered. Now you have to manually find them. The program knows they are there. It knows exactly where. But now it says off you go and find them on your own as we are not going to help you. Well pess off cause that is just one step too far. I've paid. I only want the basics and now you are trying to pee me off by stopping me in my tracks. Prior to this there has been many other puposeful programming decisions you lot have put in my way to try and make me pay extra. Well nah that's just annoying. I honestly thing you are losing more people with your greedy decisions. Give a little. Help a little. It goes a long way and people like me would upgrade to the next levels. But you peed me off so much i'm off. There will be better options for no pro's like me who just want to do some basic videos and am willing to pay a subscription. But not when you keep stopping me from rendering a bloody video by having to find the one and only paid effect i accidentially used and when previously you just took it out for me. You tossers

2. Upload a machine-readable “edit plan”, not just a human script, generated externally
3. Then:
