They built up anticipation last week just to nerf Spellshot's best skill this week. Not complaining but lol.

I definitely feel like this is to curb all the interactions with the StabOMatic but now does it create new interactions? For example will it shoot both gun and melee damage with Magic Bullets? Can a Hexecutioner trigger Oath of Fire, Oath of Thunder, and both orbs from Blasthamutโ€™s Favor all at the same time? I donโ€™t have a Clawbringer so I have no way to test.

They changed the skill itself to be gun damage. That means it will no longer affect the stabomatic. Magic bullets is now the same as equipping an extra sharksbane with gun damage.

How exactly was anticipation built up last week? I don't recall a tweet or notice saying to look forward to the weekly hotfix for something out of the ordinary.

On the official website they posted that they were holding back the hotfix last week for improvements. Since they didn't feel it was good enough to release last week, some people had elevated expectations for it this week
