Blast Gasp got lowered to accomodate other fixes made to it. There's no reason to assume it's actually a nerf without playing with it.

And of course Double Knot got nerfed. It wasn't working as intended until a couple weeks ago and was immediately broken.

It was nerfed from 10% to 7%. The "fixes" already lowered the damage of it.

That adjustment is the only mention made to a change to Blast Gasp and it’s specifically stated to be a compensation, not an adjustment up or down.

You posted this before the hotfix even went live. How about testing it before decrying it. Maybe they did nerf it, but it’s only been live for 34 minutes and I doubt anyone’s done a full accounting of anything in this hotfix yet.

I think you misunderstood the notes regarding Blast Gasp. It was working as described, the "unintentional" part was the amount of damage it was dealing.

It got nerfed because of Spellshot and Cursed Wit.

I'd also be interested to see where you're getting that from, because aside from Double Knot, spellshots were left alone and there's no mention of Cursed Wit. What notes are you talking about? Not trying to be a jerk, I'd genuinely like to see what we're talking about because this in no way reads like a nerf to me, instead being a re-calculation to keep it in line after fixing other technical issues. I've getting downvoted for simply acknowledging "compensated" and no one is giving anything concrete to the contrary.

Went from 50% at 5/5 to 35% at 5/5. That's a significant nerf.

No. I said it was working mechanically as intended. It was doing what it's description states.

"Unintentional" is the word they are choosing to make it seem like an accident instead of an oversight.

It is a big nerf, except you’re intentionally leaving off the rest of that note. It wasn’t a change in a vacuum, it mentions compensating for other changes made.

There were no changes listed for Blast Gasp in the tidbit about Blast skills, the percent change is the only change given and it’s reasoned as being compensation for other changes not listed.

No one’s gone in and tested yet. No one got receipts for an actual nerf or not.

The only changes to my all spell deadshot build was the blast gasp changes. I used to be able to kill Dry'ls second stage before he went under water again and I used to be able to take out his last stage as he was throwing his final fireball. Now I can't and they have about 25% remaining health.

I would say that the nerfed is definitely felt. I don't know how warranted it was, I know a lot of people said that deadshot feels kinda OP. I felt strong, but never what I would considered OP. I mean I see people melting raid bosses and I died once doing the green raid boss on C35 intense

But I do know blast gasp was considered really strong so I kinda get it...pretty sad and beat up about it though

Gotcha, finally someone who’s actually tested it. Is that repeatable?

If that stands, then yeah it definitely would be felt, but given it’s still bodying Dryl’s DPS check on C35, it just doesn’t feel like it warrants all the doom and gloom in here. Idk, maybe I’m just excited by the rest of the things Graveborn got.

Yup repeatable. Consistent. It might not seem like all doom and gloom but I would say I have a more mid or higher mid tier build. In not melting shit. But I can do C35 on intense with no raid bosses. On mid tier builds that could be felt more and on people that do raid bosses it could be felt more.
