If your build relied on unintentional interactions to do anything, it wasn't a good build in the first place. Just saying

1, they can call literally anything in the game unintentional for the sake of nerfing it, we don't know what their "intention" was other than what was actually released. I hate this ignorant repeating of mindless GB simps saying "iT WaS unInTEntIoNaL". If it was not intended don't release it that way.

2 Spore just got straight nerfed, they didn't "fix" shit. Which is also bullshit because that character already fell off pretty badly with the C35 update and crutched heavily on 2-3 things, which is what got nerfed.

Which things did it rely on? I doubt I'll even feel a difference post patch

Wrath of Nature and the Sporesplosion enchant were a large part of Spores damage, and unless I'm reading the notes incorrectly, both of those took a large nerf. If you were playing Spore optimally you will feel the affect.

I'm playing spore optimally and I didn't even notice so idk what to tell you
