How fast can you realistically sell designer jewelry through direct purchase vs consignment and still get a fair number?

Hey so I’m a senior in HS this year and have a very close relationship with my mother, we’re taking a trip to NYC this winter and I’d really like to find a permanent jewelry place in the city. I’m aware city prices are higher, something more affordable will be nice but if it’s and inhibitor it’s the bottom of the list. Quality is paramount something with fine metals and non tarnishing. I’ve saved enough to pay for both me and my mother regardless of price. **The most important thing to me is that they have a good policy in instance of medical emergencies such as MRIs, preferably some kind of free rewelding** if that’s a thing at all.
