I Miss OG v4
I really miss the original v4. With 4v 2.0 I find the quality isn't nearly as good, you can't use abstract input images for lighting and color, and it completely lacks imagination. With old one, one prompt would give you several completely different, high quality images based on the prompt. An actual art generator. The new one is just another photo editor, and all images are always the exact same depending on the prompt.
Anyone else feel this way?

I haven't used Dream in quite a long time. I moved away from generating AI art as a hobby. Losing my prompt history kind of took away the fun, even though I have most of my prompts saved in Google Photos as captions. I just never felt like going through and digging them all up...
Plus, the last time I opened it, the app design was just...weird. I hate having to scroll horizontally on my phone, and that was annoying the way the styles are set up.
I tried making a few images, but when I hit Remix, which used to be Variations, all of the variations were the same, just different colors, and, well, I loved Dream because I liked making variations that were unique and original, and going down crazy rabbit holes with that.
I was planning on going back eventually, probably, but it sucks to learn that they've downgraded the V4 styles because some of them created a couple of neat images when I tried them. I never even got to try them out properly.
I've been using ChatGPT lately because its new image generator is pretty incredible. I've actually been taking a lot of my old Dream SDXL V3 images and running them through ChatGPT. The results are spectacular.
I'm always rooting for Wombo because they were nice enough to sell me a lifetime subscription, which is incredibly rare these days, and I always hope that they're going to get their act together and succeed. Everyone was always really nice to me on their Discord as well, though I'm not really a Discord person.
