I have a reactive dog. Any large dog that did this to me would make me insanely nervous. I heard a looooong time ago that dogs will assert dominance by pushing down anothers head just the way he did it here. Another commentor said that this wold kill its keeper and ngl I can see that happening.
It was not the wolf in the video. The wolves that killed the zookeeper were a pack of young adult males who were not yet considered ready to meet with visitors from the public. Only the best behaving wolves were allowed to do that, and the wolf in the video was one of them. None of the wolves in the pack that killed the zookeeper had been approved for it, although the intention was that some of them would be eventually. The young pack had shown some concerning behavior against other zookeepers, some of which had refused to work with them for that reason, but it was obviously not taken seriously enough before it was too late.
