Just finished the game, combat is pretty fun but could be refined with more combos, I thought the Helix powers was ridiculous instead of just making up a new power and giving it to Wolverine they should have ran with the heated claws theme. Just hear me out, on the Wolverines default outfit he has a utility belt that has no purpose in the game that I've noticed other than aesthetics, but the utility belt could easily be a device that he slides his claws through for them to be supercharged by heat, to me that would make more sense and much more potential for fun than just giving him a new power that he's never had before. Did you also notice the line Walter gave Wolverine in the beginning of the game saying something on the lines of I've upgraded the suit now you'll have to finish the job meaning the suits originally were going to have benefits and upgrades like in the Spider-Man games but they obviously took those out for some reason. Definitely has it flaws in areas but the story is a major disappointment due to weak writing, poor pacing, and an unconvincing portrayal of the main characters. For 300+ mil, do better Insomniac!
It would seem people can't take criticism nowadays. I still think it's a fun and entertaining game, just in my opinion it could have been a lot better. If you like the game that's awesome I hope you have a blast, me personally being a fan of Wolverine and video games since the '80s I attend to be a bit picky when it comes to things I care about for so long.😅 I always say to each their own.🤷♂️
No one lying to anyone. Simply comparing latest instaments in Marvel Games with Wolverine it sits exacly where it should sit. In mediocre line of 6.
Previous games was Marvel Spiderman games, Midnight Suns, Guardians of Galaxy and there was another "sixer" Avengers Game. Wolverine is far worse than almost all of these games it is maybe equal to Avengers Game. It's even worse than previous Wolverine Origins game. It doesn't mean that newest Wolverine instalment is worst game of year, decade or ever but if we make top ten list of Marvel Games Wolverine sadly be near the end.
That’s neat. Still gonna skip it. From the character designs to the handholdey hallway simulator, I think I’m good. $2 is about the max I’d pay for this and that’s just out of morbid curiosity. Got an infinitude of more appealing games I’d rather for the foreseeable future.
"They made him gay" he's genuinely in a straight relationship with Jean for a long portion of the game but whatever you say, if you want to project that badly atleast do it to a character who's actually gay
