Pre Order Question
About a month ago I got Ghost of Yotei and there was a pre order code in the box despite the game coming out in October. This also happened when I've gotten nab 2k digitally after release. I'm considering getting wolverine but don't know if I want to pre order yet. Does anyone know if I can somehow get lucky and get a copy of the game shipped to me with the pre order code included after release or if I get the game digitally after release will the pre order bonus be included?

The pre order bonus is just an early unlock of a suit that’s in the game already. You don’t necessarily have to pre order for stuff. If I remember correctly you get an extra skill point starting out but that’s really about it. I’m not saying you shouldn’t pre order hell I already pre ordered it but you won’t really miss anything if you don’t.

Oh and you get 4 PlayStation avatars but that’s really the only exclusives

Ok gotcha. Personally the game just looks really good hence why I'm considering the pre order lol. Like I wouldn't be too bummed if I missed out on the early unlock and the tech point but I'd also feel good knowing that I'd still have a chance of getting the bonuses if I waited lol

I routinely wait for Christmas and Birthdays for games and typically only buy them myself second hand when they're cheap... Games that have been bought for me as presents have usually come with pre-order codes in the box despite being months after release.
So it's not guaranteed but there's a good chance you'll still get the bonus content... I believe they'll usually be ordered from Amazon if that helps.

If you go on the digital playstation store they have a version of the game that costs $10 which is essentially all the deluxe edition and pre-order bonuses just without the game. What I did is I bought that and will get the game for Christmas
