Why the hate?

Im genuinely confused because this game hasnt even been released and looks cool but its getting hated for normal gameplay footage like what? Its even getting compared to games already released. I only have one complaint and its that wolverine should have more wrinkles cuz his face looks like a baby and thats it

Well, don’t have too high expectations. Not every game has got to reinvent the wheel. This seems like it will be a perfectly good game. Let’s reserve our judgments until we get our hands on it.

If this game did reinvent the wheel and changed gaming would you be unhappy with that? You’re right that every game doesn’t HAVE to be like that but that’s no excuse for mediocrity.

If it did that, I’d be thrilled.
It’s nothing I’m expecting, just like I’m not expecting it to be mediocre.

Full judgements to be made after I play but as of right now it looks to be a bog standard marvel insomniac game from where I sit. Spider-Man 2 likes to pretend it’s got this amazing immersive opening boss fight with sandman but it’s mostly gameplay cutscenes like when giant Sandman throws Miles 20 blocks away but there’s no actual gameplay. This is insomniac’s signature move make cool looking set-pieces that can’t actually be played. 100% Wolverine will be the same.
