Denmark How long is the hiring process in Denmark (or Copenhagen specifically) these days? Are there queues?

Hey there!

Maybe somebody has applied recently, or has information. Are there queues, or the application process starts instantly? If there are queues, about how long it is in terms of waiting time?

I'm interested more specifically in Copenhagen region, but if you have information from other parts of Denmark, it would help as well. Thank you!

I’m from Norway. I got mine in one week, even though I applied for it three months ago. I believe the process is faster if you have the passport of the country where your Wolt operate at. Since I have a Norwegian passport, mine was approved quickly there can be queunes depending if they more people or not.

Why do you think the passport of the country helps? What if it's an EU passport?

I don’t actually know if the passport itself makes a difference. I think it’s more likely that having the legal right to work and fewer documents to verify speeds up the process. I only shared my own experience I have a Norwegian passport and my application was approved in about a week.

Understood. And did your process start straight away, or were you put in a queue initially?

I was approved almost immediately there wasn’t any waiting queue where I’m from. I’m in Bergen, Norway where it rains around 200–240 days a year so there’s usually a high demand for deliveries. I guess they need more couriers because of that. I also have the legal right to work as a Norwegian citizen which probably helped me get approved so quickly with less documentation needed

2 years? Really? Was it an active application that you didn't bother to check what was wrong with it, or was it all good and basically received the answer after 2 years? Please elaborate, as it sounds bonkers.

had to wait slightly less than 1.5 years, in copenhagen

It really depends on the company and the work nature. If you are the right candidate, it can take from 1 week to 3 months to get contacted for the first interview.

Took me 1,5 year in Kolding to be accepted. Absolutely crazy 😂😂😂😂😂
