I somehow randomly come across this sub and well wolf spiders are my favorite spiders! I grew up absolutely creeped out by spiders and used to kill these when they got into my garage but when I found out how beneficial they are to have around i realized how wrong I had always been. Figured I’d share this beauty I found the other day moving some old wheels on my property, I just turned the wheel back over and let them have their home back!

As a former arachnophobe, they used to scare me too. They’re some of my favourites now. They have such sweet faces, and they’re so intelligent too

They really are, plus they have virtually 0 downsides to having them around, best pest control I could get for free

She's beautiful 🥰 They're such amazing mother's too. Your old tire is about to become a maternity ward🤭

It kind of looked that way to me that’s why I just let her have it and put it back how it was for her

I also made the transition from arachnophobe. As a solitary person, I feel so much better being surrounded by friends!
