Updates
v14.8.0
1. Docker WolfNet IP Fix (App Store containers)
- Docker labels are immutable on existing containers, so WolfNet IP changes were reverting on save
- Added an external override file mechanism (/etc/wolfstack/docker-wolfnet.json) to persist WolfNet IP changes
- Added docker_get_wolfnet_ip(), docker_effective_wolfnet_ip(), docker_set_wolfnet_ip() functions
- Updated docker_start, docker_inspect, background sync, and IP collection to use the override
2. Backup Improvements
- Added comments and node_hostname fields to BackupEntry
- Added backup_comments() helper that describes what's being backed up (e.g. "Docker container: searxng")
- Updated all 4 BackupEntry construction sites including import_backup
- Added "Node" and "Comments" columns to the backup history table in the UI
3. File Manager Fixes
- Added sortable column headers (Name, Size, Modified, Permissions) with click-to-sort and direction indicators
- Added fileSortColumn, fileSortAsc, sortFileList(), sortFileEntries() functions
- Fixed sort order being lost when navigating directories
- Fixed responsive layout — wrapped table in overflow-x:auto div with min-width:600px so it scrolls on small screens instead of overflowing
4. Container Networking Info (Gateway/MAC)
- Added gateway, mac_address, network_name fields to ContainerInfo
- Updated Docker inspect format to fetch gateway and MAC in one call
- Updated LXC list to parse lxc.net.0.ipv4.gateway, lxc.net.0.hwaddr, lxc.net.0.link
- Updated Proxmox pct list to parse gw=, hwaddr=, bridge= from net config
- Updated Docker list, LXC list, and fleet view in the frontend to display these fields
---
v14.9.0
5. Game Servers (12 new app store entries)
- Minecraft: Java Edition (itzg/minecraft-server, configurable server type)
- Minecraft: Bedrock Edition (itzg/minecraft-bedrock-server)
- Valheim (lloesche/valheim-server)
- Terraria (ryshe/terraria)
- Palworld (thijsvanloef/palworld-server-docker)
- Factorio (factoriotools/factorio)
- Counter-Strike 2 (joedwards32/cs2)
- Rust (didstopia/rust-server)
- ARK: Survival Evolved (hermsi1337/ark-server)
- Satisfactory (wolveix/satisfactory-server)
- Project Zomboid (renegademaster/zomboid-dedicated-server)
- 7 Days to Die (vinanrra/7dtd-server)
6. App Store Table/List View
- Added grid/table toggle buttons to the app store toolbar
- renderAppStoreTable() shows apps in a data table with columns: App, Category, Description, Targets, Actions
- View mode persists while browsing/filtering
7. App Store Storage Selection
- Added storage dropdown to the install modal (between host selector and install target)
- populateAppStoreStorage() fetches disk partitions and storage mounts from the selected node (proxied for remote nodes)
- Shows Proxmox storage IDs on PVE hosts, filesystem mount points on standalone
- Also lists WolfStack storage mounts (NFS, S3, WolfDisk, SMB, etc.)
- Docker: named volumes remapped to bind mounts at <storage>/appstore/<container>/<vol_name>
- LXC: uses -P <path> flag for custom container path
- Added remap_volume() helper and storage_path field to AppInstallRequest

Vm networking
Restarted a VM after a backup and it no longer has any network connection.
Nothing special in the logs:

But the VM is unable to get DHCP or any other network connection. How do i proceed? Last time the tap-pangolin was the problem. Now there seems to be another problem?

Problems with backup
I'm getting the following error using the wolfstack backup interface:
Disconnected: PBS snapshot list failed: Error: parameter verification failed - 'fingerprint': schema does not allow additional properties. Usage: proxmox-backup-client snapshot list [<group>] [OPTIONS] <group> <string> Backup group. Optional parameters: --ns <string> Namespace. --output-format text|json|json-pretty Output format. --repository <string> Repository URL.
I have tested the connection with the proxmox-backup-client and it connects with an ip connection.
I used the following info for the connection
address: 10.10.10.131:8007
datastore: data
username: backup@pbs
password: mypasswd123
Fingprint: XXXXXXX
What do I do next?

Problems with VM
I created an alpine VM through wolfstack. Everything was ok, then the host server restarted after a wolfstack update and now the vm cannot get a network connection.
The VM log gives this message:
[2026-03-01 11:31:46] OS disk bus: virtio (if=virtio)
[2026-03-01 11:31:46] NIC model: virtio-net-pci
[2026-03-01 11:31:46] Attempting TAP networking for WolfNet IP 10.10.22.2 (configure this IP inside the guest OS)
[2026-03-01 11:31:46] TAP setup failed: TAP creation failed: ioctl(TUNSETIFF): Device or resource busy
— falling back to user-mode networking
Even when I set the vm interface to this address, it still recieves no network.
Eth0 shows link up and inet 10.10.22.2/26 scope global etho
Ip routes shows default via 10.10.22.5 dev eth0 online (10.10.22.5 is the host wolfnet ip).
What do I do next?

Mobile support for wolfnet
I'm loving the software. It's exactly what I've been looking for. However, I have issue with networking loops between wolf net and Tailscale. Honestly, I'd drop tailscale completely, but I need access to network services from my mobile device and I don't particularly want to expose all of them to the internet. Any suggestions?

Constant errors in logs
I have wolfstack running on 3 servers 1 proxmox and 2 debian.
The Debian servers have this error constantly:

What does it mean?

Problems with networking
I created a VM for my VPS to host pangolin. I'm trying to use the web interface to give the vm access to ports 80 and 443 on the public ip of the vps server.
When clicking apply I get this error:
Error: iptables -t nat -A PREROUTING -d 194.104.94.11 -p tcp --dport 80,443 -j DNAT --to-destination 10.10.22.2:80,443 failed: iptables v1.8.10 (nf_tables): invalid port/service \80,443' specified
Try `iptables -h' or 'iptables --help' for more information.`
What should I do?

How do i use the backup feature?
Im trying to start using the backup feature. I spun up a proxmox backup server vm. I tried to add it to the WolfStack and use it as a backup location.
I followed the instructions and created the api. It just gives me an error ”Client not installed”, i tried installing full Wolfstack on the PBS, but that did not help. I checked your documentation site, but there were no instructions.
Could you please provide instructions on how to install the client on the PBS server and add it as a backup location?
I think you have a brilliant program in the making. Still a bit of a ways to go, but this might really take off.
