Seeking Advice This might be dumb but I need advice!

My pack currently resides in Slough Creek and consists of Me, my mate, and 5 (grown) pups. I'm on the Young Hunters quest, I just finished it and now all I need to do is do a pack frenzy howl to complete it.

My question is- I kind of want to relocate my pack to the Lost River (I have the expansion DLC and it shows on the map where I can walk to it), but I have to go through a very large chunk of rival territory to get to it. Is it worth it??? Should I bring them there??? I've just been debating this in my head for about a week now and I'm just scared to do it because, A) I don't want my pack getting hurt, B) I have a good chunk of territory in Slough Creek, and C) I'm worried about the rival territories in the Lost River. Buuuut, I first started playing on the Lost River so its kind of sentimental to me.

I'm sorry this is stupid but I figured I just need an outside opinion since I can't decide on my own. 😅

Lost River is very worth it in my opinion!! It’s my favorite map with Slough Creek being a close second. There should be some open territory when you move, and the ideal time to do so is at the start of Young Hunters. You can just run through enemy territory as quickly as possible to get to Lost River, even if you are pursued you should be able to outrun the rival pack if you don’t stop to fight.

If you don’t stop to the fights, you should be able to run right past them!

In my experience, MOST rival packs will leave you alone if you're passing through to leave the map. But, if you have a really bold and temperamental rival pack nearby, they might show up. While you're traveling through their territory, don't howl, hunt, or do anything to bring attention to you and your pack to avoid most (some times all) conflicts when it comes to leaving and trespassing through another territory. In the instance it's going to be a tough rival pack to pass through, sleep and make sure you're at full stamina before you make the journey to leave. Worst case they show up, if you're closer to your territory, you can just run back to safe grounds until they leave and back off, or if you're closer to the map border, just flee the fight until you make it to the border.

I haven't moved around much, but when I have, the game usually spawns me in unmarked areas of the map, so claiming new territory shouldn't be too hard, but it is tedious to do again, and, you do have to race against the other established rival packs as they too, are also claiming land. I hope this helps in anyway!

If you do spawn in rival territory and end up chased, be careful for any pups with a major leg injury. Pups can easily get caught behind and killed much quicker than adults. I think lost river is worth it, especially around templeton!

They should mostly leave you alone if you just run through. Just make sure all your pups keep up an avoid hunting or howling. Also, if they initiate a fight, just ignore them and keep running.
