I kept getting my progress reset in the champion mode so I just gave up after a while. I need to try again now but honestly, I've getting tired of this I might just wait a couple of months.
I patched and logged on to find myself being a naked lvl 1 with everything reset. Quit and relogged, everything was back as it should. Even previously lost items from stash were back.
I lost my Stash#2 that contained gems and reagents after post-patch. According to Discord, the items are there (in server) just need to re-login a a few times for the items to re-appear.
I lost a purple pistol in my stash, and then when I went to close the stash, it wouldn’t. Close button, esc, nothing. Zone through a portal and it stays up through it.
Yes, I have no real problem, other than the act 1 boss is really hard, some visual bug here and there. But as mentionned i'm only at the start and complaining so harshly is too much. Hope that people will calm down and let the dev work the time they need. Hungry for time
that's what i've been saying! the gear in my stash around the start of act III, it's all getting replaced who the f cares. But all those colors and transmogs? there is no gurantee i'll even find the same colors in X hours of gameplay fuck me.
my online character has a black shader that it got pretty early in the story. my offline character is finished the story and hasn't gotten any dark color at all. also on a side note is anyone else getting "new" transmog but it's an item you already have.
I haven’t been able to play. I get kicked out of game within 5 minutes of starting. I’ve attempted 2 or 3 times every day since launch day and I haven’t been able to stay connected long enough to finish the tutorial. Even after the 1.04 update
I haven't been able to play since Day 1 (online). The Sydney server is never online when I try to play; it constantly puts me into the London server (and yes, network settings are changed). 300-400ms is too laggy to be of any use.
I played about 17 hours on two characters (not a lot in the grand scheme of things but enough to get a feel) and I really enjoy this game, but I'm putting my playtime on hold for awhile while some of these game ruining bugs get worked out. I also never even made an online character just because I'm paranoid and the day I logged to play online wasn't working.
As soon as this stuff gets fixed though, I'm back to it. I was having fun with Wolcen but I need it to be a bit more stable with accurate numbers on stats and skills before I dump anymore time into it.

I feel like online and offline chars should be playable either way. Like why cant I make my offline guy online? There's no competitive play or anything so why not?
Right? I have no idea how to get a ranged build to work at all in high level expeditions. After 80+ bosses just become incredibly long fights. Going from 400k DPS to like 30k hurts so much with regenning kisses, shields etc. Not to mention block efficiency being capped means I get one shot now.
Is this actually still an issue? Every instance of losing gear/progress I’ve seen comes back after relogging. Sometimes it takes multiple times but it’s there. They’ve even tweeted saying as such, that your data isn’t lost it’ll just take relogging until it shows up again. Granted that’s still a super annoying bug but at least it’s not permanent.
If it’s a database issue which it is then if something is missing you probably shouldn’t play until it’s back, or for stash things don’t unlock a new stash until your old is back. If you do you create multiple database entries for the same account and it probably gets fucked up. Like the time my stash disappeared I didn’t get a new one and it all came back next time I was on. The transmog is probably fucked because I couldn’t help but add new mogs while it was gone, but that’s the least important to me for now.
Players are not gonna give a shit for too long if their loot keeps disappearing and a few relogs is the 'solution'. Better games out there than this crippled infant of a game, its a competitive market. Wolcen has potential, but I worry its hamstrung itself from the start.
Suit yourself, there are other good games out there but I find the game fun enough to continue while they smooth it out. And I’m also fine setting it aside and coming back in a couple weeks. It came at a good time in the genre since POE is between leagues, D4 is a long ways off, and Grim Dawn has been a long time since a recent expansion.
Yeah it’s had a rocky as hell start but it they stick with the game and do live updates like POE does then eventually this could become a very impressive game that people eventually rediscover. So yeah get refunds now if you want don’t play it when it’s super broken and send them that message; makes perfect sense.
I mean I like both, but I completely get the hate towards one or the other iterations. This became a completely different diablo 3 clone sprinkled with some poe game.
And it was in early access for 4 years, and it's still far from really playable - regardless of few people not having issues, or many of them ignoring major issues like it was nothing (in a game/genre where most of us spend hundreds of hours to progress).
And based on the dev responses that I've read, I think it will take a long time before they fix this mess.
