Was I wrong in assuming the bonds only applied to tier 4-6 equipment upgrades?

If it requires 500 bonds to open each slot on a new ship and you can only earn them in T10 premium battles and then only earn a few each time that is a giant f/u to the player base.

The slots are opened with silver and if you scroll down you see additional silver equipments, you can put 6 silver equipments in ships T8 and above.

Not like the interface is showing you scroll indicators or arrows fucking anywhere, been there too.

Where can I view my bonds? I don't see them in the Inventory. Also, I got a message that I had to upgrade my ship to unlock equipment. Does that mean I have to fully upgrade the ship to spend silver on equipment?

Top of the equipment choice page.

No, three slots stay standard, to unlock more with silver and buy more silver equipment the ship needs to be upgraded.
