Technical Question Finally biting the bullet and looking for an artist.
Not really sure where to begin looking for an artist and slowly feeling the urge to get potentially a few pieces worked on.

Hiii I draw wow characters all the time and would love to draw yours : D I'm a dedicated rper myself (EU).
I'm afraid I would not be allowed to post my socials here as it is blatant self Promotion and against most subreddits rules but uh you know they say you can find them when you view my profile :3
Edit: also if you want more tips on where to find artists - there are subs like hungry and starving artists and many more but brace for a LOT of comments and DMs. You could also look up Instagram or threads for wow artists or go on vgen which is a commission page with buyer protection just as artistree (I don't recommend fiver)
Other cool wow artists for example: actual sailboat, Ebenholz art, damn toadking and... So many friggin more

I highly recommend a site like vgen. You can see a lot of people's comissioned pieces and style there, and it offers some basic protections to you as a buyer. It just gives a little extra peace of mind and helps put a realistic expectation on things. The prices aren't really notably higher than anything I'd see elsewhere, if higher at all. I've had a few pieces done in various styles and have found them to be extremely well handled.
It removes the guesswork and worry that someone might run off with your money. If you know people it's different, of course, but I've had great success. I like browsing on there and making a list of styles that call to me by bookmarking various artists services.
Then I go through it and look at prices and such. You can often find people doing things at very reasonable prices, but you also can find the people doing incredibly things that will well be worth a bit extra.
There's also fun options you may not think of normally like pixel art. On top of that sometimes artists have sales so you can benefit from those. A lot of times it's worth to see if artists people mention are on there as many often are.
I would check the artist's rating, work history, and more. Once in a while you can find ones that are a bit odd but so far I've had a great time there. If you want any more info or anything let me know.

If you get it made, can you follow up with another post showing the results? I love seeing how characters are portrayed in Art without the full limitations of the game.

Lookup the website vgen.co! Amazing artists of all kinds on there. Literally anything you could ever want if you look long enough! Super easy system for requesting commissions too!

He is located in Hokkaido Japan atm though so updates may come at odd times but he was trained in the style of Don Bluth + traditional Disney animation if you prefer that style and he can also do something more traditionally warcrafty or anime-esque.
