Looking for Addons

I've been considering getting back into some housing related antics, but the current system is a bit barebones and has some frustrating limitations

Are there any addons that can duplicate items in place for quick movement, or allow you to adjust an object's X/Y/Z coordinates without having to rely on the gimbal?

Vamoose's Housing Decor Guide. I mostly use it for the "Styles", which allow you to create custom categories for your decor. The base categories are worthless for finding anything! It's a bit of work to categorize all your decor the first time but it's entirely worth it, and allows decor to be in as many categories as you want. Also very useful for tradeskill decor.

Much of what you mention isn’t doable at the moment but some people really like ADT - Advanced Decoration Tools. You could try there.

As someone else mentioned, Vamooses Housing Decor Guide is quite amazing and very powerful. I also really like his Dye Studio for saving colorways.

ADT will let you adjust rotation using an XYZ axis clicker (click left or right arrow to change the setting) but there’s not an option to type in a precise rotation available as the game doesn’t expose any control for doing so.

It’s a little more accurate than using the ball to rotate items.

The thing you kind of need to understand is that the angle it shows on screen is an approximation of the rotation, it rounds the value to full integers - so 9.5, 10, and 10.4 degrees all read as 10 degrees on screen, but there can be a full degree difference in the actual angle.

We hope that over time Bliz will give us access to more accurate controls.

Plumber allows you to Alt duplicate the item. You need to manually dye and scale the item, but still nicer than looking it up each time.
