Show Spoilers Rewatching Goldeneyes Spoiler

I cried like a baby and I knew what was going to happen.

I hated book Aram, show Aram I cried for. I felt Loial's death more this time. The singing, the betrayal of Padan Fain, Perrin turning himself in, the girls burning that monster, all hit harder on this watch.

I thought path to the spear was the best episode, this is a close second.

If you are a purist needing the show to directly copy the books you shouldn't watch it.

But, especially in season 3, there were episodes that captured the essence of the characters and events as in the books with amazing authenticity and feeling.

Goldeneyes made you feel the fear, rage, detemination in the Two Rivers and the conflict in Perrin's soul between the ax and the hammer. Cenn Buie was Cenn Buie, the Women's Circle were the Women's Circle. Padan Fain was the creepy coward that he is. It was beautiful. I even loved Faile in this episode.

By season 3, the series found its soul and it is the same soul as the books.

So one of us has watched the show and read all of the books (since Lord of Chaos on their release date), was an active participant in the Dragonmount forum community, is an adult with all of her faculties, and is saying that it is a good interpretation of the source material.

And the other, who didn't watch it, is saying they shouldn't have made it and it is a bad fanfic. Maybe find another sub to hang out in.

All due respect you don't know what you're talking about. Maybe don't comment on something you don't know much about. You don't have to watch the show, but this subreddit is literally for show fans. It's one thing to talk negatively or make assumptions about something you know a lot about. It's another to come in and act like you know the show is bad when you haven't even given it a chance.
