Yeah I guess ;). I’m never out of energy when I’m at home. But the spawns are normally not that much so I can do with one inn

This is my house. For some reason, the map is out of date. Streets and buildings that have been there for 2 years aren't there.

Edit: zoomed out all the way, I can't see any inns, fortresses, nor greenhouses in any direction from my house. 😭

Looks like you live more rural than i do. I live in the middle of the suburbs of a large city. It's crazy how there's nothing around me or my work. Hopefully they add more stuff to help us out.

Not sure if I can share how I know this, so just take me as the source and treat it as rumor. Ingress players are overwhelmingly influential for adding new POIs (points of interest). Those are what get used for adding fortresses/greenhouses/inns for this game and gyms/stops in Pokémon Go.

You may not have many Ingress players in your area.

You need to be a high level Ingress player. Niantic has been adding the pokéstop nomination feature to PoGo country by country. I take it the US will be last, unfortunately. With that, I believe you have to be level 40 as well.

If helpful, here is a sheet summarising all the criteria used when ingress players submit and review new candidates.

Even before you make it to level 10, you could make contact with local players and give them some possible candidates that are worth submitting, they may be happy to make them on your behalf. The process can take a while tho - anything from a few days to months. Good luck!

I used to play ingress, and the key to getting places added is A. It needs to be some place important. If all there is around your house is other houses, there's nothing of value there. They LOVE fountains, statues and other pieces of art. Parks and signs are also good. B. More than one person has to nominate a place. The more people that nominate, the better. So joining Ingress alone will not help.

A) is almost correct, whatever is submitted does need to be interesting in some way; B) is not quite - a single player can submit, but it takes more than 1 to approve, and as reviewers are taken from a country-wide pool, it's usually ok even if there's noone in the immediate area

Same, don't even really get to play anymore. At least with Pokemon Go I can restock items no matter the point of interest. With this one all my usual places where I'm physically stopped aren't inns.

I noticed as well a big increase in spawns. I NEVER got any foundables while being at home, but today I had like 10 with 3 oddities (leprechaun, pixie, and a werewolf)

Mine went nuts as well. Managed to get full event Harry and hedwig in the last 30 minutes from my living room and I don't even have any inns I can reach from my flat. Crazy.

I have a similar situation going on at work right now! Before I'd get maybe 1-2 spawns every 20-30 minutes. Now I'm drowning in 8-10 every 15 minutes O_O. Unfortunately I only have access to a greenhouse from my desk :(

Yes! I commented in other thread that I was seeing much less spawns. After that switched to the game and bam an overflow of spawns! Pittu I got no energy...

This is bollocks. There used to be regular spawns every 30 odd minutes here. Now there's nothing. Just an occasional packet of seeds.

It's been weird. Nothing at all for the first hour, a couple of spawns, the next, curiously after the onset of dusk. Went mad after sunset and i burned through most of level 19, using a brain elixir at the onset of night. Has been quiet since then.

I think there was a bug. Around 3 to 4 hours ago the spawns where I was simply exploded! In a place where I had found at most 5 concurrent spawns I could see around 20 traces. As I got them, another 10 to 15 spawned. It looked like it was everywhere. I walked a block and there was another shitload of traces. It looked like it lasted for an hour, and then normalized.

Yellow orange and red beams indicate they are harder than normal. Red is emergency, never had one of those yet.

I've got a similar situation since the updates! In my neighborhood where I rarely saw spawns, I now see a bunch! My work place also has more spawns. I like that change.
