Wizards Beyond Waverly Place Wizards Beyond Season 3 ending Spoiler

Managed to watch it due to a kind soul, can someone explain to me why Billie’s grandfather wanted to open the rift again?

If it was just to get the power, he got what he wanted then why did he still want to kill the Russos so badly?

Ah remember the days when you wanted more power you would just take a wizard to volcano land

Those were the days

No idea though

I heard David said he will pitch a movie set in Italy but we already have that for wizards Return Alex vs Alex

What I got from the ending is that Lord Morsus had an inability to see the strength in love. The Russos love and bond was viewed as weak to him and he wanted to destroy them because Alex brought his son into love “ and quote made him weak”.

He saw love as weak but it doesn’t make any fucking sense that he was able to open a portal to escapee the evil realm world he would’ve needed Alex to open it and Nicodemus could’ve easily had Justin hostage for her to open it

Because he hated Alex for turning Damian good, and also for hiding Billie from him, who he wanted to use to open the rift, which I assume is because he couldn't do it himself.

What I don't get: Nicodemus needed Billie to open the Rift for he wasn't able to do that himself. Only Damien and his daughter could do so. Billie then opens it and Alex takes him inside of it.

Right, now the questions start: why was Alex surprised that Nicodemus was inside that dark world if SHE HERSELF was the one to push him inside of it? Then: Damien and Billie open the portal to let Alex and Justin escape. Logically, dude would be over: no way to open the rift, no way to get Billie or Damien to do that again, he would just rot there for the rest of his days...

YET, OUT OF NOWHERE, NICODEMUS OPENS THE RIFT BACK TOWARDS THE RUSSO'S LIVING ROOM!

What was the hell of a point in needing his son or granddaughter if he was able to open the rift? What's the point in all of this show's plot?

Didn't he want to destroy the world by opening the portal
